Joy Meriwether of Jackson, Tenn. has written “Larry the Ladder,” “Roy the Rake” and “The Adventures of George and Nana!” Ginger Terry of Jackson writes about magical mermaids in the bathtub — how fun! Mark Avella of Orlando, Fla. has three books in progress with “What in the World is a Wally Wook?” coming soon!
Jesse Hillman is writing “Isis: The Wonder Cat,” about his Siamese cat, cherished for 22 years; she’s worthy of a book about her shenanigans and the way she talked to her human staff. Wanda Stanfill is publishing “Twig” as a newly edited and revised edition.

Jacque Hillman is the senior editor and CEO of HillHelen Group Publishers, where her role is editing, interviewing, ghostwriting and designing for print, broadcast and online. She also creates social media and marketing strategies for clients nationwide. Jacque is the owner/designer of Reconfigured Art Jewelry, profiled in PBS “Tennessee Crossroads.” Hillman is a member of the Historical Novel Society and the National Federation of Press Women. She is a Delta Leadership Institute Executive Academy alumnus, class of 2010-2011. Jacque is a past state president for Business and Professional Women of Tennessee and the 2018-2019 president of Jackson Area BPW. She was co-founder of the West Tennessee Artisan Trail which promotes artists and authors and co-founder of the Tennessee Woman Suffrage Heritage Trail promoting women's history. She's the winner of the West TN Healthcare Foundation's 2016 Award in the Arts, and the 2014 Sterling Award: 20 Most Influential Women in West Tennessee.
